All work is undertaken subject to H&M Removals' terms and conditions, which limit liability. Insurance is available as an optional add-on, a premium is levied at the time of booking. If you choose to insure, every item being moved or stored must be listed at its full replacement value. Under-insuring can result in only partial settlement in the event of a claim.
Each item must be insured for what it would cost to replace today, not what you paid for it. Under-insuring means a claim may only be partially settled.
Only items packed by our crews are covered. Breakages that occur in owner-packed boxes are not insurable, our consultants can advise which items should be professionally wrapped.
There is a strict window for submitting claims after delivery. If damage is discovered, report it immediately and file the claim within the required period to avoid forfeiture.
Mention insurance when requesting your quote. We'll calculate the premium based on your declared values and include it in the final price.
